A spear tackle requires someone to be turned upside down and [ito have their head driven into the turf[/i anything short of that is possibly dangerous but not a 'spear tackle'. Using such pointless and emotive language serves no purpose. |

| Quote Wakefield Trinity Wildcats centre Aaron Murphy tonight won his appeal against the two-match ban imposed for a dangerous throw, lift and drop in the 29th minute of the Wildcats’ defeat by Castleford Tigers at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on Saturday.
The offence was reduced from Grade C to Grade A on appeal after the tribunal viewed a video showing the incident from a different angle to the ones presented at the original hearing on Tuesday.
The appeals tribunal ruled that Murphy was guilty of a lesser offence and ordered that the original £300 fine was sufficient punishment. Murphy was also warned about his future tackling technique.'"

| So in Murphy's case they held a hearing without all the evidence. One night footage from one angle then the following night hey presto a new angle. What a farce.
As for Lima I am sure Wigan's under 12s will be playing Wigan St Pats between now and the WCC and that will count as a game. They will have something up their sleeve I am sure. 
While we are betting Bailey back for Leeds on Friday, I bet he is up before the Beak next week.  |
