Hull shouldnt be signing average journey men like Phelps or Obst when they already had 5 overseas players.

But they still have 30% fewer than Hull KR.

Good News is Wakefield have fewer.

and their competitive contribution to SL will be so much the better for it, NOT!

What we do know is that putting out squads filled with overseas players and being competitive hasnt made Wakefield sustainable.

Maybe when people stop looking at being competitive this season as the only aim of their existence they can put the necessary effort into making sure they are competitive and sustainable for a long time.

If they are to survive and come back stronger, it will be based on going back to the strength of the local game, not by shipping in players who were never good enough for the NRL, thats what got them here in the first place.

Apparantly Radio Humberside have announced that Hull FC are going to announce the signing of an up and coming British player today. Wouldn't be suprised if it's Murphy.
