Funny because that's exactly the attitude adopted by a lot of English fans, particularly those who follow certian lower league sides.

Thats one problem to his idea. Also I dont think the top clubs will be happy at adding an extra 4/5/6 games to the season.

the few post that iv'e read of yours would suggest that you on the other hand truely believe that the clubs in the CC leagues and half a dozen posters on here wealed all the power in rugby league,that really is bizzare.

Back to topic, I reckon for RL to develop in the USA it needs to get into colleges and schools like Gridiron, Netball and Rounders do. The amount of people that show up to watch college games is phenomenal.

The biggest problem that RL would have in the USA is that it is too fast and too difficult for yer average american to comrehend.

They have the attention span of a gnat!

Crikey they have commentators at their sports telling them whats going on. They get quick sections of action in NFL and then stop for minutes on end, same in baseball where they have organists playing at certain fields.

TV is adverts every 10 minutes or less and as for programming, talk about dumbing down!!!
