I've emailed the NRL to try and find out what the situation is with regards to broadcasting rights in the UK.

When (if) I get a reply I'll let you know what they say.

Yet they're showing 3 live AFL games a week! unbelievable.

Mate, I could drink a bottle of metho or Bleach and still couldn't watch it.If I was offered 24 hours non stop sex with Amy Smart and Charlize Theron at the same time as long as I watched the whole game, I reckon I'd struggle.

I went with a mate of mine to a pub to watch the 2008 AFL Grand Final at 4am after a heavy night on the sauce. I was drunk when I got here, even more drunk by the time the game was over, didn't know who won it and what's worse I missed the NZ Warriors semi-final.

I got my own back. I invited him around to watch the 2008 RLWC final. I was resplendent in my Kiwi jersey.

As a Warriors fan I really hope someone picks up the NRL soon. I enjoy Superleague but NRL is different class.

- I usually Sky + most of the games and if I was to miss out on either SL or NRL it'd be SL every time - plus I need to have a fix of some decent RL being a Reds' fan !

Think it's a massive shame that we won't be getting it on any channel this year. Very surprised at least Sky hasn't picked it up considering some of the rubbish they fill time slots with throughout the week
