The final would have sold out if it was just the two finalists and the RFL selling. Now each club will have many they will return today, to go on sale on Sunday. It's ridiculous, because the buying rush has since gone in Widnes and Barrow, and there will be empty seats at Bloomfield Rd. Even though demand has exceeded supply.

Are you saying that Widnes and/or Barrow completely sold their allocation and couldn't get any more tickets to meet the demand? If so, well done, and I hope all those with tickets (and those who pay on the gate) have a great day out on Sunday. |

I entirely agree with both of them.
I would go to the end of the earth to watch Fax play but I simply can't muster any enthusiasm for this farce. Could you visualise the RFL asking the SDL clubs to risk their best players in something like this at the business end of the season?
I can see the games being played before a total crowd of a couple of hundred, tops.
I'll tell you what though, the RFL will still claim it to be a massive success using their usual Orwellian doublethink. After all, the RFL thought it up so it can't possibly be a failure, can it? |
