| if the England team were somehow picked on form we would probably have 3 or 4 in there - David Hodgson, Eorl Crabtree, Luke Robinson and Andy Raleigh for a start with people like Lawrence, Griffin and Wild not far off...................BUT the team aint picked on form and the chances are not one Giants player will feature

| I've always liked Stephen Wild, and I think he must be in with some sort of a shout for a call-up in June.

Ooops....
Brad has been injured so much, and I have seen so little of him, I thought he must still be writhing in agony at a hospital at Huddersfield.

I guess that's why so many people are reading them and posting varied comments, not necessarily unpleasant, in response to them.
But let's try to stick to the topic, rather than feeble attempts at humour old chappie.

| No doubt we will have a number who make the train on squad and then are cut before the final 17 who will be nearly all made up from Leeds and Saints, oh and now Warrington.
Seriously though. Crabtree would certainly give the opposition something to think about. Wild is as hard a worker as anyone in Super League and has more pace than most back rowers. Hodgson is scoring plenty of tries. Raleigh is as tough as they come and plenty of others are as good as the current internationals.

| if it was picked on form then i would say wild, crabtree, raleigh, brown and robinson would be shoe-ins, with lawrence and kirmond good outside bets
however even if we finish 2nd and reach both finals the international call up would most likely elude all of them

| If we carry on as we are doing right now until the end of the season we will have players playing for England. Playing well now isn't as important as playing consistently well throughout the season.
People can make snide comments if they wish about the supposed quality of our players, that's up to them and their choice. No doubt they're the same ones who cry cheat etc when they get beat.
We'll see how the season goes. In the meantime I'm just enjoying our play and reading the moans and attempts at superiority from certain posters. Posters who watch their team play like crap or get completely outplayed by apparently inferior sides with players they wouldn't touch with a sh*tty stick, blame the ref or the opposition instead of themselves and then deride other teams when they've clearly got problems of their own to concentrate on.
