Other than london and perpignan at the time, there was a line of dots in a neat line from liverpool to hull for league whilst the uk wide map had scattered dots across the islands..... This upset the faithful, but as they knew there was no debate or way of disproving my stance, they dis what all facists do and shouted loudly and banned me.
I applaud the people who set up pub sides around the world, but an example of the fickleness of the faithful on that site is that they are struggling to raise, $500 US to sponsor a jamaican side, whilst i, a supposed union troll invested $2,000 last year in petone panthers youth sides and have been approached to help Bankroll the rebirth of the kapiti bears..... No mate. Toronto said they would fund their journey to Superleague themselves, but once in Superleague they certainly did expect a equal share of the SKY TV deal. The truth is Wood accepted their entry to the Championship. TWP never spoke to Superleague - they just outspent the Championship to get the promotion to Superleague. Superleague didn't want them, be very clear about that, they openly have said so. But there was a binding agreement with the RFL that SL would not block/pick and choose who would or would not go up under the current SKY deal.

So TWP went up but there was no agreement TWP had a right to SKY money so SL refused them that money. What people don't seem to get is Superleague do not want to go Transatlantic full stop. This is why nothing is happening at New York, nothing is happening in Ottawa, and nothing much is happening at Toronto except the SBW stunt.(Axey gets this) It's all politics, but the fact is if Perez pulls Ottawa and Wilby pulls New York NOW then they effectively will kill Toronto - as Perez said NA expansion is impossible with one club. So Perez and Wilby will continue to say they are arranging for their clubs to enter the game in a year or two, but the truth is they are waiting for SL to be the ones to kill off TWP when the new SKY deal comes in.

It's really obvious to anyone whose into politics why TWP aren't boasting and bragging anymore, and Ottawa and New York have gone dead. However over on TRL, League Express and League weekly they have probably moved on to blathering about Boston, Montreal and Vancouver, with a little help from Perez who said something in line with he's recently been in touch with these other "consortiums" (and probably been in touch with the good lord himself). You just couldn't make this stuff up, but Perez has, and equally SL bosses are coy about calling it out, so when this all collapses the game will be a laughing stock

So it seems the whole conversation has now died on the basis of one person goading others to have an argument that is then stretched out to the point those who only want to talk RL are somewhat elbowed out by the goading - but also by replying to the goading. The solution is to complain to the mods, and if they feel no rules are broken then don't reply to the person. It seems that's where the problem lies, so I'd better stop replying to him.
