| IMO if he picks Smith and drops Williams we lose the series. Widdop has arguably done less than Williams with the ball. It's at the DW, Smith and Williams got Wigan to the Grand Final and they know each other's roles and responsibilities. On the plus side, when we lose, SM will be out of a job thank .

| I'd leave the halves as they are now. Everyone needs to muscle up for them to have some space.
SM has spoken about Jerry adding a quicker play of the ball and having his tough running game. It suits the England team tactics perfectly. So why is it now he may add him in the team?
Steve has done a decent job... Brought a good squad together and given the younger lads a chance. HOWEVER win, lose or draw I think it's time the coaching set up changed. Freshen things up.. Do it early before the next World Cup.

| The only change I would of made at this point is getting Bateman out of the centre spot and get him back where he belongs. When Sam Tomkins comes back in the frame he will probley move players out of position again. He just has to ruthless and drop good players because there's better ones in there chosen position.

| Smith has a half decent kicking game and experience at international level, this is valuable in a decider. People suggesting Gale, has he ever played in a big game?

1. No he hasn't but he should've played in 2-3 this month.
2. Has Smith ever played well in a big game?
McNamara needs to step down after tomorrow, regardless of the result.

| I hope they've got the covers on overnight, I think there's a real danger it could get called off if the rain's as heavy as expected...

Yes. When he won the Lance Todd against Hull.
It was a dire game though played through torrential rain, that day he kicked Hull to death and I expect similar tactics tomorrow but whether it has any bearing on the result not sure.

it would surely have to be rain of biblical proportions for them to call a decider in front of a full house off.

| Mc Banana is a fookin idiot he is a coach and should never hav egot the job. I saoid it at the time he was appointed and have said it every season since.
I laugh at thos ewho have taken 3 years to realise it.
I spoke to a bradford player who was their when he coached.
He told me that he came into the changing room and talked in such a way that the players had no idea what he was on about and stopped listening to him.
He then said we ignored him and just talked about what we were going to do.
He was a waste and still is a waste.
But it will be too late for the rfl to realise it and many of the sheep on here.

| He's that bad Sydney Roosters have just given him a new contract, what a bunch of idiots. And as for all those past and present England players calling for Mcnamara to stay in the job, they haven't got a clue the sheep. If only the RFL listened to Durham Giant and some of the other posters on here.

Probably because they can't find anyone else willing to put the training cones out. If anything this proves that McNamara is a better assistant than Head Coach.
