I think it should have been red also. Ellis could also have had a red certainly a yellow at least for his hit on Bird. Bird was going down but still contact with head. The comms thought the new prop for Cats got a crusher tackle also? Not sure who the tackler was? So yes it will be interesting to see what if any charges are levelled come Monday? We are sweating on a couple of incidents from our Leigh game.Adds a bit more drama for Derby build up. |

Ridiculous. I watched the game.It was entertaining overall. Lots of controversial moments I do think Catalans got the worst of a very poor ref but like I said they often seem to get the rub at home game's so hard to have much sympathy. Il leave you to it and hope your luck has been spent for this month. |

Catalans robbed themselves, end of.
Why he felt the need to catch it in the first place was beyond me, it was a poor short kick off. If it had gone ten metres, which it hadn't then a Cat's player would have got the ball. Even in golden point they let the ball go out from kick off, when you concede 30+ points in a game youve only yourselves to blame.
The disallowed try had no bearing on the game as Cats scored the next set anyway.
Also a team scores from a forward pass where have I seen that before ? Oh yeah almost every game every week. |

The biggest forward pass of the game didn't even get picked up and it was one straight from dummy half by Catalans. It was on the play where Bird got penalised for running behind his man. The dummy half pass was about 2 metres forward, honestly couldn't believe that the ref and touches judges were so oblivious to it.

Exactly. In fact Catalans didnt even really need to touch the ball from the restart after their late try. There was about five seconds left, they just needed to make one tackle with their defensive line fully set.
Catalans blew it (twice) and Hull FC deserved the win over all. |
