He does headbutt, no matter how people may define it in their worlds, in the RL world that is a headbutt.

The grading we're unsure of but it ranges from 3-8 with a lower grade EGP meaning a possible 2 games minimum.

Regardless of what we think, he's at least missing the next 2 games, no big deal really.

Banned indefinatly if your version of a proper headbutt is a glasgow kiss! Sinfield showed aggression whilst forcing his head into dorns, that is a e-f punishnent

I think that's most people's definition of a proper headbutt tbh, except for football commentators.

Maybe the RFL will pretend it never happened like they did when Peacock verbally abused James Child

A-B Head butting - makes light contact
C Head butting - makes full contact
E-F Head butting - makes full contact in aggressive violent manner

Definitions and guidelines from the rfl - I'm curious what a head butt in a none aggressive manner is though!

I was playing a few years ago and I was on the receiving end of an almost identical "headbutt" - I was completely perplexed at the time why the ref went nuts and sent him off, he got a really big ban too (12 games iirc) - there's always harsher standards for juniors, but head butting is seen as a big no no for some reason

Thought it was an amazing, breathless game. I was screaming for sinfield to be sin binned for a pro foul, was stunned to see as red. Either way, Dorn was sensational tonight and sinfield cost Leeds a point and potentially hampers the rhinos prospects this season. Bizarre.

Went to square up to him, went horribly wrong. If Dorn had also led in with his head they'd have met heads and had a few verbals. When u head butt but somebody, you flick your head then bring it back. Sinfield led in with his head, then kept pushing.

I think incidents like this show the grading system to be flawed. It is not possible to do a 'non aggressive' headbutt. Trying to define something like that just doesn't work. I also don't like this part contact/full contact nonsense. However much contact is made the intent is still there which is what should be looked at.

I'd prefer to look at the context of the overall incident and the past conduct of the player involved. In this case was it really that bad. IMO it wasn't. However it was one of those things, like biting, gouging etc you simply can't do. 2 matches IMO would be sufficient. The calls for a long ban are OTT and the minority claiming there was nothing in it are wide of the mark.
