But you can't have a WC tournament with 5 teams. I said for PNG to be in the WC, but for it to be played over 4 years like it was in the early nineties. What was wrong with the 1992 WC Final? So it would be 8 matches over 3 years and obviously the Final in the fourth. It would officially be called the England, Wales and Scotland Lions, but they would be known as the England Lions, maybe some would write the teams as EWS Lions at times. Anyway, our home match v PNG would always be in Sydney. So possibly if the final was in October 2024, we would play France in April 2021, then tour Oz in October/Nov 2021 and play 4 matches, 1 vs PNG at Port Moresby and 3 vs the Kangaroos. Play France in April 2022 and tour NZ in October 2022, play PNG in Sydney before going over to NZ. In 2023 NZ would come over here for a one off match in April and Oz would tour here in October 2023. I don't have much interest in NZ touring here, only the Kangaroos get lots watching.

| So it's Robert Elstone's fault most Super League games are boring, and the nearest thing to excitement or skill you get, is a winger doing an acrobatic dive in the corner to score a try.
I know football is generally boring and doesn't deserve the global adulation/sponsorship it gets, but TV companies are hardly queueing up to offer a deal to Sooper Dooper league are they ?

Are your stats pre COVID? Of course they are. Stop being insular. Debate but please refrain from out dated information.

How does PNG beating GB have any relevance to pre Covid and insularity? Got me confused.
Will you be applying the logic in the second part of your post across every poster?

I'm okay with a licensing system, suppose that's the best thing for RL, if Oz don't have promotion and relegation in RL how on earth do we have it in England! Dear me.
And a RLWC tournament? Please, no, there are only three international teams who are good, I'm not including Tonga as none of their players, it seems, were brought up there, they weren't even born there either. As I've said b4, have a WC over a few years as it was in 1989-1992; where England, NZ, Oz, France and PNG play each other home and away over three years. Top two qualify for the final. The 1992 WC Final was okay wasn't it?'"
Are you seriously trying to suggest that Wigan, Leeds, Saints, Hull (and Wire, who you forgot to mention), dont have more influence on the sport than the rest, SERIOUSLY.
Where on earth have you been for the last 30 years.
There wouldnt even be SL if Wigan weren't the puppet masters of the sport
As for relegation, again, where have you been - NOBODY liked the closed shop under licensing ??

I didn't say that Leeds, Wigan etc. didn't. Some ppl preferred licensing, we're almost certainly in a minority, but that doesn't mean we're wrong, sometimes the minority are right.

We need to get more people with money watching especially those who are self made millionaires or even billionaires

| As I think I've said before, absolute priority should be to get a viable London club back in the top flight, even if it has to be subsidised for a while. I don't know how we can claim to be a national sport when we've gone back to a really half-hearted attempt to involve the capital at the top level.
Should be priority over any expansion to Ottawa or such places.

I don't think it took McManus long to realise his mistake., but he gave Elstone a bit more time to do something positive and Elstone failed

Failed at what exactly? He was a puppet for SL. You have your answer. Elstone didn’t fail the support did.

You have to get your feet under the table. Given his plans would have been tainted with the pandemic. I think he did well.

| Difficult to do anything when the clubs have the vote on any changes because they will always vote with regards to their own self interest rather than the future of the game. For example, the less well off clubs won't vote to increase the cap because they're at risk of going down, but one of the ways we will improve the sport is to allow clubs to pay the best players.
