By no means am I a fan of Wigan, infanct up with Leeds, Fev and Wakey for me with my most disliked teams however they have done nothing wrong. All they have done is sign a free agent. Most clubs have players who have had issues, I’m just absolutely disgusted by our club in releasing Zak. Wigan have swooped in and had our pants down and I don’t blame them 1 bit, I blame the backwards decision to release one of the best players in the league and I have no doubt he will be in contention for MOS next year. Gutted

Good post, as a Hull fan I'm not really that bothered in so far as who he signs for, the system allows it and that's that though whether I agree with the system is another matter.
As a player at his best he's better than Barba at his best, no contest in fact, I still think ZH is an utter cokewomble.

in your opinion, he's by far the better rounded player and offers a ton more defensively and in attack I'd still take Hardaker.

You’ve got to be joking? I don’t think any one else would be idiotic enough to share the same view. Hardaker may be marginally better defensively (its a myth that Barba is poor defensively, it’s not his strongest area but he’s more than competent) but the difference in attack is ridiculous. The WHOLE of last season (in SL only) Hardaker managed 11 tries and 18 assists, in HALF of this season Barba has managed 15 tries and 17 assists, that represents a huge gulf in quality. Needn’t mention that Barba is a Dally M, NRL Grand Final winning fullback, Hardaker got moved out to centre and Penrith weren’t exactly bothered he was leaving. Hardakers a very good player but some of the opinions people have on him are over the top. You’d have to be insane to choose Hardaker over Barba.
