Tomkins to souths would be awesome,inglis back to centre or you could have Tomkins interchange off the bench

The Oz commentators get it right when he's playing FB "he's the best FB in the world" when he's playing centre "he's the best centre in the world". We all know why he's not playing FB at Origin or International, Billy the Kid. However, he [iIS[/i thee best player in the world. Im a Leeds fan, I know Sinfield isn't the best player in the world. His "Golden Boot" was a jerk reaction to his achievements last season and his inclusion as England captain.

Inglis is the best in the world bar none.

I think Inglis is the best in the world. The reason he doesn't start at FB for Aus and Queensland is because they are keeping their tried and tested team together which includes Slater at FB with Inglis at Centre. Thats just the way it is.

Inglis could signal a move to a 'new' kind of FB.

I believe Tomkins could be just as good if he goes to the NRL though, the guy is a once in a generation player.

More likely he just enjoys ing off the Warriors. To be fair, he has a point, if Tomkins enjoys the media work on the side too, he should find a club in Sydney really.

IF russell signs sam it wont be Inglis moving position it will be john sutton moving to lock or the backrow and i believe thats why he was joking about can you play another position. Luke Keary the young half has been seen as a big potential but before ever playing a first grade game he has been threatening to leave and Madge wont like that. There is no way Russell and Madge haven't spoken about Sam before and no doubt thats why he knows Sam,,, I'm sure Tomkins would of been Russell guest to the after parter as well.

There have been suggestions in the media Inglis should play fullback for the second game of origin with Slater moving to the wing, even in the first game it was suggested due to Inglis's skills he should've be been moved back to fullback to get him involved more. But your right the Melbourne combination of Slater, Cronk and Smith is a tried and tested formula.

If sam moved to souths and outed inglis at fullback he would be public enemy number 1 in aus and they would cause a witch hunt against him. billy slater hasn't really been him self in the last 2 years he has an odd game where he's back to being amazing but this season he has been poor.

We must be watching different Billy Slaters.
