He didn't wish him a career ending injury your talking sensationalist rubbish! He said it was ironic that in the act of cheating Wigan out of a certain win Maguire got injured and that the rugby God's had dealt him a blow. |

TBF Clarke didn't so much wish an injury upon McGuire, merely imply his injury was deserved.
It was a scumbag thing to suggest from someone who doesn't normally say scumbag things.
He still gets booed at Headingley and quite rightly in my opinion.
There were a small minority of Wigan fans on the Wigan board who said some pretty scumbag things too, including wishing injury upon McGuire. Fortunately most Wigan fans were a bit more grown up about it all. |
