But not against GB or England where they usually win by a landslide.

Your obsession with past results as a barometer for future results is foolhardy.
Disreguard the past 40 years and look at this tournament in isolation.
England have a great chance.

| If England can play as well as they against NZ and against Australia at Wembley then they will make Australia have to play very well to win. England have a good team but more importantly for me they seem to have belief in their ability to beat Australia.

Derailing threads with comments like "You just concentrate on beating sides like Wales and France and leave beating Australia to us seeing as you aren't very good at it" seems pretty trollish to me whether it's factual or not. Fortunately we won't be leaving Kiwi Shane and his nation with the responsibility of taking on Australia.

I know. What a complete joke that decision is.
Matt Cecchin? The guy who should have sent to kiwis to the bin or worse?
What is it with sheens; does he think he can't beat England with a neutral ref.
Mark my words, it will end in tears for England.

Despite the result and England performance last night it's been a fantastic tournament. Apart from the final I really don't think there was that much between the big three and Wales played some cracking rugby at times. A sell-out for the final, an eclectic crowd of over 42,000 for the double-header at Wembley and an aggregate total for the seven matches of 128,066. Now all we need is a confirmed international fixture list for 2012.
