I could go on, but other than the 95 World Cup at Old Trafford it was 1953 the last time an England v Wales game got near 20k which is what you'd be hoping for in one of the 'bigger grounds' . And it was 19k at St Helens. |

It's getting quite a bit of coverage now. Really good news for the game. The WC in 2013 could be massive if we build on this.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

That's great ......... I was thinking how little coverage last weekend's games got .......... I didn't hear or see anything about the England v Wales game, in fact if I hadn't deliberately looked the score up on teletext on Sunday morning , I wouldn't even know who'd won |

I can't wait, but most of the figures people are quoting never seem to have any links to a reliable source. |

It should be, yes. The reality says otherwise.
If when we still can't sell out a 12k stadium, why bother? Which would you rather see as an advert for our game - 8% empty seats in a 12k stadium, or 50% empty in a 20k one? |

Without doubt it is achievable. RU do it with similar crowds at club level. Many tickets are sold through those clubs.
I think we could get huge crowd for these games with a succesful team, cheap tickets and good marketing in the NORTH. The potential is there. It is just a shame people don't want to go. |
