| The only way it would be viable is if it was Aus v NZ in 1 of the matches. Who wants to pay out a load of money to see Aussies stuff England and NZ stuff the Welsh.

| I'd like to see the RFL encourage teams to put on club coaches with each club getting a percentage of tickets sold for the match through the club shop, that way you will get more people going to the game because they can have a drink at the match and don't need to worry about driving all the way down to London and getting a tube etc as the club has the transport aspect sorted.

Slightly off topic but I have been told the Welsh RU used to organise a 'Rugby Train' from Cardiff to Edinburgh when it was the old 5 nations.
Beer all the way up.
Few beers in the pubs before the game.
Beers during the match.
Beer all the way home after the game.
I'm told there were very few seats available for the trip as it was so popular.
It would be a good idea for this fixture. The RFL could organise a special train from Leeds or Manchester direct to London.
Aint going to happen but it's a good idea.

Reckon if they do that it might be better to have it at the Millenium Stadium. England V Wales in Cardiff might get the Welsh public a bit interested and drag in a few more casuals than we'd get in London

In tests between Great Britain/England and Australia held in the UK since 2003, the average score has been 26-14 to the Aussies

Trouble is you would lose the ANZAC crowd then which I would suggest would probably be more than the Welsh one.
Also when you consider the apathy shown to the international game by people (England v Australia didn't even sell the DW stadium out don't forget) how many will go to this?

As always Boris.
As always.
Polls on here don't really count for much of course but it's interesting to note that right now about 30% of people who have voted WON'T be going.
Clearly this isn't a good idea.

That is the key get bums on seats and make it an event, offer amateur clubs one free ticket for every two they sell and fill the stadium.
I however will not be gouing i cannot justify the cost for another trip to London. I wil however be at the other England games.
My only concern is that it is pointless Wales being there, they will not even be making the numbers up. They are even less competitive now than they were last year. It would have been much better for a Celtic nations team but that is another debate.

They earned the right to be there, so they get the opportunity to play against the best.
1 Elliott Kear
2 Dave Halley
3 Rhys Evans
4 James Evans
5 Rhys Williams
6 Lee Briers
7 Lloyd White
8 Keith Mason
9 Sean Penkywicz
10 Garreth Carvell
11 Andy Bracek
12 Jordan James
13 Gareth Thomas
R David Mills
R Ben Flower
R Jacob Emmitt
R Craig Kopczak
That's the best Welsh-qualified team I can put together, if all make themselves available.

Id go further than this and make the selling of tickets for central events and internationals part of the licence package. Each pro club is responsible for selling match tickets and gets a 'kickback' from sales. All clubs should be more involved as they have the most direct access to regular paying rugby followers
