If you're talking about the horrendous fracture that ended his career, he didn't play the ball, but he did sit up, see his leg pointing the wrong way, and then twist it back round to where it should be. Needless to say, the look that immediately crossed his face suggested that he regretted doing so.

Ward was a more complete player than Peacock. He had a superb offloading game that Peacock lacks. The fact that he also proved himself in the ARL weighs in his favour.

Peacock is probably the best forward GB have had in the past 15 years though.

Why? Anderson can't lay serious claim to being the best British prop of his generation, Ward can seriously make that claim, Ward can make a serous claim to being a genuine world class prop.
