The dream team is about individual performance levels. Their clubs standing in the league table has absolutely jack to do with it.
Thankfully things have changed from the early 90's when Martin Dermott was picked for GB just to make the entire pack from Wigan, when Lee Jackson was twice the player Dermott was. |

Of course, it could be argued that picking Dermott was sensible as he played with the rest of the forward pack on a weekly basis so they knew each others games
And they did beat Australia 33-10 in Australia – not a bad result |
