Please don't tell me you are serious? I know you are a well known troll and a fan of the 15 man game but even so I would hope you are kidding.
So any news on the positives London have brought to the super league in any of their guises since it's conception?
Surely as a big fan of the club you must be able to educate us?
We're all ears.

A second place league finish, three cup semi finals, a cup final and NEVER finished in a relegation place or bottom of the league.

| Quote: Roy Haggerty "That's why it has to be a strategic decision. Only fools and the self-interested pretend that London's circumstances are the same as a standard M62 club. For London to succeed (as opposed to survive or limp along), then those unique circumstances require a unique approach. Without such an approach, then they will fail.
I don't think you should assume that the RFL [idid [/isee this coming, however incredible that may seem. One of the reasons why Richard Lewis was so valuable to the game is that he was capable of taking a longer view - when he was still interested in his early years - and his lack of connections with any particular club or section within the game meant that he was able and willing to face down the self-interested, and to put in place systems and structures which benefitted the game in the long-term, as opposed individual clubs in the short-term. Once he became detached, and you had a more traditional local RL-club chairman type guy in Nigel Wood, we saw the retreat from such an approach in favour of a make-it-up-as-you-go-along short-termism. That self-interested short-termism has now fully infested the game and can be seen behind the walk-outs, splits, abandonment of the licensing structure (which theoretically forced clubs to think long-term), bizarre league structures designed to appease less successful clubs, and the failure to deliver both sponsorship and decent TV deals.
To a certain extent, this World Cup is papering over the cracks. This is the traditional RL-on-the-field saving RL-off-the-field relationship. However, this season has been chaotic at the level of the national game. I can't work out whether it's incompetence or complacency, but it's probably both.'"
As always well said and well put. Good summary.

| Quote: BartonFlyer "I doubt you could buy the land for that amount in or around London, let alone build a stadium.
Without a sugar daddy at least in the short/medium term London cannot survive.
I think though, it will be a massive blow for RL if London Broncos disappear and be more evidence of the inward looking, parochial nature of the sport and its administration.'"
You missed out "...and fans..." In that sentence.
For what it is worth to the poster suggesting a ground could have been built for £10 million. You clearly have no clue about land prices IN and AROUND London that would be big enough and suitable for a stadium. £10 million might buy enough land for half a ground. I suppose we could always move north say close to the M62 and build our ground, with HS2 it would take me less time to get there than going to Gillingham from Kingston as was muted in the past year.
Oh, but hang on HS2 is a waste off money according to most peeps north of Barnet.
Back to my drawing board.

As requested earlier, as you are such a RL expert, what has any other club ' brought to ' SL or RL in general?
And considering this is the ' printed word ' not voice communication, its all eyes, not ears

don't fret pet...the Troll will get nothing from me....well at least until it tells me what other clubs have brought to SL that London haven't. I suspect it is hanging its hat on 'away fans' which I have repeatedly shown deliver a fraction of 1% of a SL clubs turn over.......it is also quite shocking that idiot trolls like this specimen see 'away fans' as the answer to the woes of the game as a national sport
I suspect that whatever the outcome of this farce, there will be no P&R in 2014........Ian Lenagan called the RFL's bluff and David Hughes has just raised the stakes......little old London could well yet have a major say in the shaping of RL in the UK over the next decade.

Pretty impressive stats for 17 years of top flight rugby league. I think someone should pump another few million quid into the club. Who knows ...with such an impressive record maybe in another 17 years the club might even bring more than 20 fans to an away fixture.'"
Whats up chuck, cat got your tongue, or your finger in this case
Again, what have other clubs brought to the sport ?
Answer or look a complete dick, rather than just a dick, its up to you

What many fail to see up north of Watford is that London is the "bread winner" for the nation. A successful London side would have delivered financial benefits to the Northern clubs, but nobody had a strategy and vision to make it work. I left the north 25 years ago as I realised there is world south of the M62, unfortunately many are stuck up there with a narrow view of the UK and London. There is no point in trying to point it out. You have tried over many years just to get back sarcastic comments. Time to go in to Administration Gutters. Enjoy the NRL it is likely to be around as a full time sport long after we have retrenched to our roots and gone part time, aye they was grand times lad.
That's very much my experience of current northern attitudes too, I'm sorry to say.
