It's a shame he couldn't get into the semi final team against warrington, maybe he wouldnt have gone to pieces.

Bringing up a semi final win that led to another Grand Final defeat 3 months on is the most Warrington thing ever.

Player of the series. When the more established english players were intimidated by the surroundings and the PNG team, Lees basically took them on by himself. Thats why he was awarded player of the series

"Lees basically took them on by himself" What did the other 16 lads do during the games then?
Small minded opinion to be honest, open your eyes and watch the game, troll.

Lebron brought it up, and running your mouth off, then disappearing when things dont go your way is the most saints thing ever, you did it, lebron did it, and since your stopped winning trophies the rest of your forum dwellers have been doing it.
How about you two start showing some humility, and not give ppl the opportunity to RIP the out of you.

When you have a 19 year kid who goes to PNG and smashes their forwards all over Port Moresby earning player of the series and he can’t get in your side, you know your pack is just gonna steam roller the rest of SL
Until it’s a semi final and they go to pieces'"

Agree. I'll be the first to admit the lad had a good series and Saints have potentially a good Prop on their hands but there's been some absolute hyperbole talked about his performance tbh. I watched both games and he didn't smash the PNG players and that he took all them all on by himself, he just had a really sold series over the 2 games where others played well in one and were average in the other. He made good meters for England and for his age looks a prospect but there was more to that series than just one player like thar's been made out.

Yeah I actually really rate him and that Thompson at saints but he needs to take that Lees off of the pedestal he’s got him on.

Hull
Wire
Wigan

Leeds
Wakey
Catalans
Hudds
Hull KR
Salford
London
Saints will walk it again, I think a lot of people are underestimating Hull based on a season where they were ravaged by injury. If they can get everyone fit and keep them fit, I fancy them to be the shock team this year. Wigan in transition, Wire spending loads of cash but could all flop again, Cas consistent. Next 4 all could finish anywhere between 4 and 9 but don’t think wider squads are good enough with injuries at a couple of them. Wakey probably have the biggest squad in terms of players with SL experience.
Bottom 3 pretty much nailed on IMO.

Right, but you felt the need to link the match report in response to someone else talking about Matty Lees. But bizarre. What an outstanding post, do you remember when Warrington last won a final? (Clue: it was before Saints last won one).

To answer your question Warrington last won a final in 2012. However to take the mick out of a team that actually manages to reach finals these days seems a bit silly for a Saints fan.
Last 10 seasons
League Leaders:
Saints - 2
Warrington - 2
Cup Wins:
Saints - 0
Warrington - 3
Grand Final Wins:
Saints - 1
Warrington - 0
Total Final Appearances:
Saints - 4
Warrington - 9
Total Trophies:
Saints - 3
Warrington - 5
Saints have only won 1 Final in the last 10 years and they needed to play against 12 men in that one to win it.
