Thompson, Pomeroy and Brown have played about 10 games between them. They are squad players.
Charnley was brought in half way through the season. Thompson in the last few weeks.
Three recurits in Roberts, Sita and BMM during the off season.

Not for me. I'd been following Leeds 28 years before the 2004 success and the hairs on my neck still stand up when I play the dvd. In an ideal world all RL fans would experience that, whether it be cc or gf, so good luck to wire & cas in particular (though I do think it'll be wane and wigan's year).

You as supporters have become so blase about getting to the G.F. & heaven forbid if you fail then it's been a poor season.
I would just like to see another group of supporters feel the elation that you must have felt on seeing your team lift the trophy for the first time in living memory, that is if you can remember? After all your success, it must have dimmed by now.
As for teams rolling over, Leeds haven't done a bad job this year mind.'"
We like to have years off in between GF wins nowadays to let others have a chance We did it in 2016 finishing 9th and still came back into Old Trafford and strolled away with our trophy again in 2017
Like I said it’s up to these other teams to stop the likes of Leeds and Wigan and if they can’t do it then so be it and who cares if others find it “boring”.

Dominate?'"
Probably yes but you get the general jist. Hull had been great in the cup in the previous 2 years and the team to beat in that competition and Leeds’ playoff/GF record is top notch. That neither got to the final 4 of those competitions opened the door a lot for a potential new-ish winner.

We’ve only got three props (Cooper, Hill and Philbin) who play any minutes. We’ve only got one true hooker who, granted, is an amazing player!
Our back row consists of Currie who could end up being world class but has played more games for England than he has Wire in the last two years, Hughes who had a blinding game last night but compared to Bateman and McMeekin (spelling?) he’s nowhere near, Westwood who’s a pudding now at 37 (but effective for to be fair to him), Livett who’s average as owt and Murdoch-Masilla who playing but isn’t fit.
Our halfbacks have been uncrrative all year with no real back ups.
Our wings and full back are very good and we’ve got good centres.
It’s an okay squad but it’s paper thin and an injury to most areas of the pitch and we drop in quality. Our back row is of such a quality that we’re bringing three new backrowers in for next season.
I honestly expected 5th-8th with what we have.

| Couldn't comprehend Saints going for the 2 when they were winning by 3. Still a one score game, negative option. Seem to remember them doing something similar v Catalans in the cup semi as well

| It's not a free hit. I never expected to be in the Grand Final this year. In fact I didn't even expect it 25 hours ago, never mind at the start of the year, so in that sense yes it feels like overachievement and a very pleasant surprise. The fact is though we are there now, and bitter experience from three utterly miserable nights tells us the Grand Final is no place for losers. It's an opportunity to end over six decades of underachievement, to put all that always your year (or our year as we cringily now reclaim it) rubbish to bed for good, and also put an end to a run where we have lost five major finals in a row now. It's not a free hit. It's the Grand Final. All I want now is a win.

| Quote: WireWireWire "What's your point? I'm not a massive fan of Ratchford either. Comes up with boneheaded plays and is nornally a one man band. Also half the time looks for bodies to dodge when he could just run forward. Case in point when he picked up that loose ball and was off down the field, side steps one and then instead of taking Barba on the outside he cuts in again and gets caught. He's good but he's also a liability more than some believe.'"
Did you not see his try saving one on one tackle on Makinson then?

I did. Also saw the brilliant tip on pass he gave to Goodwin for Lineham's game winning try. He's got his moments. His defence is certainly better than Barba's. But kicking out on the full could have cost us the game, it's such a silly mistake to make. And he comes up with them at vital moments sometimes which makes me not as big a fan of his as everyone else is.

| I'm kinda of the opinion that occasional brain farts are the built in foilable of fullbacks.
No mistake FB's generally are probably not involved enough to make that pivot count.
Ratchford is right up there with the most creative and elusive there is.
I'd take him, brain farts and all.
