Embarrassing for Koukash. Is he a habitual liar? Says everything is fine, yet players are suing him, his club is being sent winding up orders by creditors... what's the truth then? Cos to me he's hanging on by a thread now.

| Winding up orders are an exercise used by creditors in disputes to accelerate payment. Doesn't mean the club can't pay the debt because it doesn't have the cash to do so.

Certainly worrying though. Why isn't he paying the debt? Why is the council disputing him?

Hardly an excuse. Pay up on time. Don't think its cheap to lodge these things so they must be desperate. Everythings fine???? Seems mar lies as much as he says his players or ex players do as it was lodged on 23rd June

Very interesting to see you pop up whenever There's bad news about Salford in the press.
Personally, think Salford need a new CEO, one who knows how to run a business properly. I don't know who it is currently but he/she appears to be a bit of a clown.

| I see this ending very badly.
Iestyn has all the aces given what happened at Hull KR, several companies have CCJ's lodged and awarded and now this.
Marwan might be better off staying out of the dressing room and spending more time with his hands round the CEO's neck instead!!

Who is the creditor that lodged the CCJ ?
There may be good reason for them not paying and Koucash doesn't seem the type of guy that would pay anyone that there may be a dispute with.
Having said that, most businesses try and avoid such things at all costs.

| The only reason I can think of for Koukash allowing all these things to build up is to try and get the maximum amount of debt into the Salford company before allowing it to go bust along with the original debt from taking over the club.
They can then reform ala Bradford without any debt.
I may be very very wrong but I just can't see the business sense in allowing the club to build up so much bad feeling towards it from suppliers and contractors by not paying them when they should.

Under Armour are owed around £35,000 I think, plus I believe Kooga have one from last season that is still not paid.
One of the Aussie players had baliff's at his front door because the rent was unpaid for 9 months however I am not sure if that was a CCJ or an eviction order.

Are you suggesting that Salford are trying to get around the salary cap by giving benefits in kind IE we will pay X £ for your accommodation to players and then not paying up ?

Lots of clubs do things for players like paying for accommodation, cars, jobs for wives etc. It's all covered by the salary cap. They do it as it helps lower the tax the player would pay and/or they have sponsors or links with companies who will provide that kind of benefit as an alternative to a direct sponsorship deal.
