What was Hulls squad like? Ours was reasonable although had Sammut, Gaskell, Carvell, George, Kearney as couple of others missing. Still surprised we lost by so much! Cas looking good this year!

Then brought all the kids on second half. Radders has barely gave the first choice team a run out all season.

Talking to hull fans after game, started with strong team including about 8/9 first Team players. half time score was 24-6.

What excuses am I giving? None. We we're awful and would have been the same score if we kept the same team from the first half on for the second. The kids we're always going to get beat, it's the fact that the first half with the team we had playing we're embarrassing. Gareth Moore at 7 for Fev was brilliant, close to a perfect game from him.

Someone asked what team we had out playing, I replied saying we had the first team playing first half barring Stark and Hadley. Second half was kids but included Miller, Bowden and Arundel who was the oldest player at 24 the next oldest was Miller 21. No excuses here. First teamers were a joke.

If it's a similar score line when we play Catalans then I will start worrying, but, as poor as today's result was, it's not worth getting worked up about a friendly.

Wouldn't say worried. Had a few Inportant players missing but still not great result and shows we could struggle with injuries.

However can't read too much into friendlies, didn't saints beat giants last year to be hammered following week in season. I'll tell you after first 3 games if we're worried.
