| Sinfield should have gone for touch in England's last set, it would have wasted vital seconds.

| Quote: easthull fc fan "Why on earth did Sinfield shoot out the defensive line?'"
All three of the outside defenders shot out, they didn't want a big one rolling over them. Inside defence didn't go up as fast but I think fatigue was a massive factor there. The last kick chase was a great big dogs leg, the boys were out on their feet.
They gave it everything, they are as good as the Kiwis no doubt about that and many are young enough to be there for the next tournament.

| Here come the experts who can say they would have done better.
It's a game that was won on a coin toss.
There was a whole 80 minutes of chances. People always count the last one, but we had other chances to kill it earlier as did NZ.

| George Burgess shouldnt have given away a daft penalty with them 30-40 out on their 4th tackle.
Before everyone starts bagging on sinfield he moved us round and created a couple of tries best game I've seen him play.

| I think that pack has a young enough edge to keep together for the next tournement.
Widdop showed that he should be the man.
Thought Sinfield was fantastic, but not sure he will carry on.
Centre's maybe a place that can get touched up and we need a replacement at half when Sinfield retires.
Very sad not to see our boys next week in the final.

| Quote: Mr. Zucchini Head "I feel a bit sorry for Sinfield really. Best game in an England shirt for a long time but not finding touch at the end of our last possession and then shooting out of the line have cost us it.'"
No. Not scoring more points than the Kiwis lost the game

| Why did we carry a sub & not use him? what a waste. But on a whole England are performing better against the better sides to get done last minute is so cruel & 8 points in the opener against the aussies is a lot better then recent years.

| If that's his last game in an England shirt he can be rightly proud! Cheers "Sir" Kev.

| Bollocks. Fucking ing . Fucking ing ting .
As soon as that soft high went in, we were ed. Two completed tackles away from the final, and some lazy wit throws out a stiff arm. Who the hell was that ? Couldn't see from here as I was watching between my fingers.

| Hard to think of any other centres tbh we are lacking in that department, would maybe like to see Matty smith from wigan given a chance or maybe what's his name brough is it? he did play for scotland in the 08 WC so we cnt moan if he chose them again.
Least we shouldn't need chase anymore, widdop was Neopoint apart from the obstruction, if he had played I wonder how we would have performed I think we could have lost by more by going a man down.

| As a team if you think of internationals as a league system we have gone from struggling to make the playoffs. To being contenders in 4 years.
I am devastated. But trying to keep level headed about the future.
