Two points...
1. As far as I'm aware, there has been no official reason given for Carney's visa refusal. The idea that it was solely down to his criminal conviction is pure speculation.
2. I'm pretty sure that the Huddersfield board were equally sanguine about Carney's paperwork.

According to McNamara, a decision is due within days so expect a decision on Mr Birds visa this week.

Well we won't have long to wait now. I expect quite a few at Saints and Leeds will be hoping it's rejected. With Bird on board I feel we can be genuine contenders.. |
