What an absolute embarrassment to the sport Toronto showed to be yesterday. I would say amateurish but I think most amateurs have more respect for the officials than the likes of Mcrone.

Knockersbump is easily the worst poster on this forum, just ask 99% of the FC board.

I was really impressed with Toronto’S first 20 minutes, throwing the ball around and showing controlled aggression. The problem was they lost control. And anyone blaming Goodwin for protecting a young player is deluded. I’ve even seen Saints fans allege that Goodwin punched Dixon from behind. It seems to be overlooked that Dixon pushed his head into Livett before punching him.

I'm just watching the highlights back, mccrone was lucky not to walk after the red card was issued, thaler had to try and keep a lid on him at that point, which was then followed up after charnley scored, he was in his face still banging on about the third man in when dixon started the melee(which he did with the heavy hit and then shoving harvey's face as he played the ball)

I don't think you can have any sympathy for McCrone whatsoever.

IMO Toronto didn't behave any differently to what they've been behaving all season. Difference, refs in the Championship have been told to turn a blind eye. When they came up against a SL side and a SL ref they obviously resented no longer being able to get away with the same behaviour they've produced all season so fac.

Interesting and absolute farcical claim. Toronto had Robert Hicks in the middle for their match with Dewsbury......so they've already had a SL referee and an award winning one at that!
Rowley coached sides always try to bully teams.....it's nowt new and if they go up he'll be replaced by an Aussie coach or they'll be straight back down, but referees being instructed to turn a blind eye is fantasy level stuff
