We need to show the ludicrous response letter to crucrucrusaders to higher Setanta authorities, to show them what morons they have on staff.

I only renewed my subscription last week after a couple of years to find on week 2 I have one live game.

I have emailed them with my complaint/cancellation and also will be contacting offcom, as I renewed with the guarantee of 2/3 live games a weekend.

I know I shouldn't have renewed but I need my fix !!! I awiat their five day response which will be the same as last time I cancelled ie they have magners rugby or aussie rules or something..

Same reply I had, except it was NFL all the way through.


ESPN has NFL rights in most of our territories, but unfortunately we do not have rights for games and highlights in certain countries that receive the version of ESPN available in UK, Ireland, Italy, Greece, Turkey and the Nordic countries and several other Eastern European territories. We are always speaking with the NFL about expanding our coverage, but the NFL has rights agreements in place across Europe that prohibit some of our negotiations from progressing until such rights deals expire.

Pretty much what i put in my email. By them now only showing one game a week , Does this render my contract void ? As I'm a new customer and have to subscribe to Setanta for at least three months .

just got my reply today with same rubbish in it, except NRL in first line. it is pretty ridiculus that they have bought the rights to live games and dont show them live or on delayed broadcast. clearly whoever wrote the reply needs to revisit primary school and learn the difference between R and F

More to the point, we read 3 identical (automated) responses instead of answering our own individual e-mails. So they have a set response whenever anyone complains about NFL and say "send em that, it'll do"

Bulldogs exciting, Kimmorley/El Masri arent exciting players to watch... I'd rather a fair share of the teams anyway.

According to the listings I am looking at (from radiotimes.com), there's 1 live game this weekend (Storm v Titans Saturday morning), then 2 live games next weekend 10th & 11th April, teams as yet unspecified.

Where did this statement about only 1 game to be shown? Is it someone on here going off on one on the basis of 1 week's listings and assuming a pattern? Surely not

I've all sorts of trouble when asking about the scheduling of the NRL, 9 times out of 10 I seem to get through to an Indian call centre.

First call, I was told about NFL, then magners league. Eventually they said they don't show NRL.



Second Call, after not understanding "NRL" i said "Australian Rugby League"...the reply was "yes we have magners league". This went on 3 times before I gave up and tried again another day.





Third call, speak to an Irish bloke who answered my original question. Finally!!
