Could be both, Toronto and Toulouse are the two strongest teams in the Championship, plus Leigh have just beaten Salford.

Sir Kevin Sinfield is making a valid point. Salford and Widnes are awful, while Hull KR and Huddersfield are not much better (Huddersfield totally depend on the Scottish international Daniel Brough and the Maltese heritage Jakob Mamo).
Toronto (when they play with 13 men rather than 12 or 11), and Toulouse (when Johnathan Ford is playing) are very powerful teams with a good chance or replacing two of the above Super League stragglers.
Leigh, by contrast, despite recent improvements in form, just don't quite have the class to make the big time.

What would you know about class, crass is something you are more familiar with.

Not sure it's intentional, but you make a valid point about teams relying on individuals (whether just one, or two or three) to make them tick. If/when they're not available for whatever reason the team struggles.
Where most Championship teams (but not all) struggle in the M8's is with the increased intensity needed for 7 weeks in a row. It's Ok for one game (a cup tie), but to raise your game for several weeks is hard.
Toronto have recruited a decent squad, and may well add (replace) more before the M8's, but are likely to struggle against the SL teams as they won't have the experience of playing as a team together. Toulouse are paper thin if they lose players to bans or injury (but could be a threat if they get lucky with these). Leigh are on fire at the moment, but are they peaking too early? I can't see any other potential Championship qualifiers winning a game other than against another Championship team.

How frustrating for you when your precious Catalans are replaced by one of these teams.

I wish we could've peaked a little earlier tbh.

| As a fax fan I am expecting Leigh and Toronto to be promoted this year. Both have super league standard teams which will beat the likes of Catalans. Just hope leigh do not cost fax a place in the top 4

"Salford and Widnes are awful, while Hull KR and Huddersfield are not much better"...
All 4 clubs currently above you in the table, whether that's down to points difference or not

We (Leigh) still have it all on, to make the top four, after our dreadful start of five defeats in the first six matches. The next month or so will make or break our season, with visits to Featherstone, Toulouse, and Toronto plus Toronto again, at Blackpool. Oh and we have to play 'away' to Leeds, in the Challenge Cup, in the middle of that lot!

Therein lies the problem - lose at home to you (or anybody else for that matter) and we won't make the top 4!
