Really? It was only a few month back that he had lost all passion for the game and wasn`t too sure if he ever wanted to be involved in Rugby league again.

He did get a role on the training staff, but it was no secret that he really wanted to carry on playing - away from his beloved Leigh, if necessary.

Was he? I thought that was a complete rumour just because Wood got hurt that game and we didn't know how bad it was at the time and Randall was just a couple of games away, so I find it very hard to believe we'd sign him for a game or two at most.

Complete rumour made up by who, Higham or Chester? Because they both come out and said they nearly come to an agreement to sign him to play for Wakefield.
