Widdop is fit for the World Cup!

| Watkins is a better player anyway.
Widdop played at the weekend.

| I still think its an absolute Pee take that Fatnamara handled the brough situation so badly it resulted in Brough electing to play for Scotland. Brough has been outstanding this season and is far better than any other half back currently playing in superleague and When you look at our potential pack that will give him the space to play, I think he could have done a job against the aussies and kiwis.

Believe me they're trying. Since Sam returned from his ban for the 'squirrel grip' tackle (which fair enough was out of order) he's been under close scrutiny for his every move on the pitch. I've seen the Aussies blowing up over a couple of nothing incidents from the Roosters game last weekend; an eye gouge on Jimmy Maloney that wasn't, and a push on Jared Waerea-Hargreaves that was only in retaliation to an elbow to one of his team mates. He'll have to be careful in the finals.

| Now that we've lost an Australian from our squad we'll have to replace him with an Englishman presumably. Fingers crossed McNamara can find one.

| Meh
Wouldn't have made my side anyway, but we'd better hope Cudjoe and Watkins stay fit now!

Every time I think of Jack Reed, I sing the words of the Rolling Stones song "I'm Jumping Jack Flash, it's a gas, gas, gas."
No England based player has his ability to leap high for and seize the ball and score after a high kick.'"
lol, when was the last time he actually did this?
England have plenty of backs who can take high kicks, Ryan Hall for one.
Losing Reed would be a minor blow as he is a steady bloke to have in the squad, but its hardly a disaster.

| Excellent news for England.
That'll be two turnstiles in defence in both centre positions then.

Because then it’s another Huddersfield player in the squad.
Jack Reed isn’t a loss to England team anyhow, he’s no better than the centres we have playing SL.
