5) That lucky try Sam the gerbal Tomkins scored when the ball blew off the kick off tee. When has that ever been seen before?
It wasn't a case of Wigan playing well, more a case of Wire playing poorly.
I see there was smalltime behaviour from Wigan's players and fans celebrating a win against a side they claim "isn't a big club with no history" like they'd won the Challenge Cup,Grand Final and World Club Championship rolled in to one!!
And they claim we're not their biggest rivals!!!'"
Ever heard of the phrase 'magnanimous in victory, gracious in defeat'?
No?
Thought not.

| Presumably the OP isn't really a Wire fan?
What a fantastic advert for RL that was. I'm over the moon that Wigan came out on top and we were fantastic today but Wire are obviously a very, very good side... and they have a few players out. Wigan v Wire would be a sensational grand final.

You are a very bitter man.
Notice how the fans of other teams (the ones who are not bothered who wins) are not talking about all the luck and ref decisions. We were not boring either. All of our tries were class!
The Sam try was not straight from the kick-off, it was the play after. He is a class act.

He's not a Wire fan. He was outed as a troll from another club ages ago, and yet he still gets bites every time he posts.

| Ignoring his troll status, the reason Wigan won today was the brilliant skill on show and the determination to change the momentum when wire came back at them. Cracking game for the neutral.

Sour and grapes spring to mind. Well beaten by a far superior side. Might have been different had Briers played but he didn't and it's now history. Warrington were mullered.

Agreed.
The first half was as good a 40 minutes of Rugby League as I've ever seen.
