| Quote: Saddened! "They should just get some bottle and sack Agar. All this nonsense about British coaches being good for the game should be forgotten. The Australians do rugby league better than we do and we should try to copy their methods and learn from them. I think the RFL should set up a scheme where any young British coaches/retiring players who have the potential to be a head coach are sent to an NRL club for experience, paid for by the RFL.
Given their superb facilities, strong financial setup and strong youth production line, Hull should be perennial challengers at the top. After briefly threatening to become a top club with a couple of Cup Final appearances and a Grand Final, they have fallen well below their potential in recent seasons.
Give Maguire or Brown that squad and they would be in the top 2/3.'"
completely agree, stick a competent coach in charge and we are top 6 at least.
Agar has had 3 years, and has completely overhauled his squad, yet the players still play the same brand of drab lifeless rugby.
the scenes at the hooter at the KC last night were some of the oddest I had witnessed in rugby. Wakefield scored a good try right at the end, to which the Hull fans rose in their thousands and applauded, before launching into a crescendo of boos and 'Agar Out' chants. Gates have already fallen this season, and it won't take much more for him to go IMO.

I'm amazed he has lasted this long.
How long has he got left on his contract?

Some of us have a reasonable understanding of the correct use of commas too.

Seriously?
Look on the bright side then... at least you only have just over a year to go unless he walks away.
2012 might bring better things!

Until the end of 2012. Got a 2 year contract extension last year on the back of his amazing results in 2008 (11th) and 2009 (12th) because he won a couple of games in 2010, at which I was furious at the length of the extension! They actually announced it on April Fool's Day, so I was just hoping it was some sick joke.
My lack of interest in watching the game anymore shows that it is not a sick joke, but a living nightmare that just isn't going to end. I'm not going anymore until he's gone.

doubt he can last to the end of his contract, last night there was thousands of fans who left with 20mins to go and thousands booing and chanting Agar Out...no sports club keeps its coach when the fans turn and the money stops coming in.

I'm sure this has been suggested many times but why don't you Hull fans ALL boycott every home fixture until the board actually do something about it?
Surely no one can be pleased with the direction Agar is taking the club?
Money talks. If the club don't get any people coming through the turnstiles then they will HAVE to do something about it.
I can understand season ticket holders not being keen to do it because they have already paid.
So what about next season?
2012 could be the year for you ALL to boycott any home fixtures.
