| Wow, sounded like an epic game. I reached Penrith early tonight and watched the first half at a mate's place, then we left for the Raiders/Panthers game. While the Raiders were warming up on the field, one whole side of the stadium were standing and had their back to the field. They were all watching the Tigers/Roosters game on the TVs through the corporate boxes' windows. Quite an unsual sight, but a nice statement that everyone there were true league fans. Nice moment.

NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_9857.jpg |

| great game, Tigers probably deserved to win it but Roosters in ET were the best side. Should have been a penalty for a high shoulder at end to give Rosstersd a kick to win it, and then a penalty to Wests at the scrum for breaking from the pack before the ball was out for them to retain possesion but as the refs have been 5h1thouse all season it is just par for teh course this year.

Yes they mentioned that during the game. Great to see, although why they couldn't hold back the Penrith game for ten minutes I don't know.
Here in the UK we missed the first ten minutes of the Penrith game.

Do you think Manly will cause you problems tomorrow?

| I went. Prob the most intense on the nerves ever. More satisfying than the win in the Finals against Newcastle in 02 if I remember rightly. it's interesting to then see it again on the telly. Mixed feeling for my fellow Englishman Ellis. What a player.

Sure was
Bombed a couple of dead set tries and then got put on report for nearly taking Todd Carneys head off.

Hopefully (for Wests) he will cop a suspension... maybe they will make it past the next round then. Unless the Tampons choke even earlier than everyone expects and Manly win. Sadly I cant see it happening though.
Pity his Dad had a wasted trip but

| I have no idea why Sheens plays him for 70mins then sits him on the bench for the last 10. A number of times this season Wests have needed him out there at the death to give them an attacking option in the 20. He needs to play 55, 15mins rest and brought back on for the last 10 or so minutes. No wonder Tigers aren't reaching their potential with this man at the coaching reigns!

They had already held off for 15 minutes, who knew when that game was going to end? Blame Channel 9 for not showing the first half on delay, and catching up over halftime.

| You can hardly blame Ellis for all bar one of the bombed tries. he probably should have looked to hold onto the ball more strongly on the one where it got knocked out. He can hardly be blamed for a try being disallowed due to Marshall slapping someone half a pitch away. Pretty incredible for one player to have three tries disallowed in a game, let alone three in the first 11 minutes or whatever it was.

25592.gif A TIP FOR YOUNG KIDDIES:
NEVER SHAKE HANDS WITH A GYNECOLOGIST.:25592.gif |

| i wish ch9 would get rid of fittler from the commentary team... he spoils the game with his silly outbursts.
listening to fittler i can now understand why he was such a successful coach.
