This. Would everyone rather we kept our sport behind the latest innovations? I fail to see how something that may encourage people who don't normally watch Rugby league give it a go be a bad thing. Yes it's better to go and watch the game live at the ground, but it is bound to make people more aware of our game.

Personally, I'm not overly bothered about 3D, but that's nothing to do with Rugby League. I'm not even bothered about watching films in it. But if our game can benefit from it, then I'm all for it.

That said, it would be fun to see everyone duck when the conversions are viewed from behind the posts.

At a Shrek preview screening I attended last month Sky was the sponsor and they played a 3D 'showreel' of Sky progs - everything from movies to ballet to sport. They showed a bit of soccer and RU and it just looked [iweird [/i- like a moving version of the old 'Viewmaster' slide-show device that older fans will remember from their younger days. Happy they are putting RL into the latest tec but don't see that it will enhance the viewing experience.

Everything. they film it with twin cameras so you get 2 slightly different views, like your eyes, and then the glasses separate what you see.

Am I right in saying that not EVERY shot will be in 3D? I'm sure I heard some football fans saying that only certain angles from certain cameras are filmed in 3D?

=#8000FFYeah only the bits filmed with the 3D camera will be 3D but I guess that will be most/all of the game + some replays.
