These offers are always abused. Facebook Campaigns work do they. have Rage had any more number ones since they toppled Cowell at Christmas. I bet the people that signed up to that one have forgotten they even joined the group. Theres even a group called 'I join groups and never visit them again'.

Is it a new base though? or is it givin free tickets to those who would have paid anyway? I think the people who were "fans" before the promotion are likely to fall in that group

How many people have now heard of RATM who would've been none the wiser were it not for that campaign. It's an effort to raise awareness. Facebook provides an alternative medium for this.

Either way it's worth a shot - Quins fans may even use their free ticket to give to a mate or whatever to try and entice them.

Let's face it they can't get much worse so like a I say, its well worth a punt.

Quins Marketing department are grasping at straws. This is not a planned campaign, but a knee-jerk reaction to their MASSIVE campaign of flooding the train system with 5 posters and 5,000 plactic ticket wallets didn't get the desired MASSIVE result for the visits of Wakey and the French. Even worse, this offer was first announced 4 days before the Salford game with a view to getting the group from about 900 to 2,000...........now the target is 1,500....progress it ain't!
If they have no budget, it would seem chirlish of me to poke fun at them, but if they have no budget it does beggar the question "why have a marketing department at all"....especially if this is all thay have to offer
I am informed that 1,200 is the lowest ever gate for a televised SuperLeague game....and that record will be safe, but a sub 2k gate is on the cards.......and an average of 2,400 after 4 games

Gutters the club has also said All season ticket holders can bring a friend for free. If this is taken up by 60% that would be a crowd of 2243 without face book and away fans or walk ons. I will be very interested if the club follow this up as IMO their is the potential to use this avenue a lot more especially for publicity purposes.

Sorry, but the minute the fixture list came out the club should have given away free tickets for Catalans, Salford and Hudds......they are 3 of the 4 worst traditioal draws...and done EVERYTHING they could to fill at least the East and North. A big campaign to announce that the first 3 or 4 games were part of a MASSIVE campaign to raise awareness to our existance and introduce people to the game.......but instead we get a few wallets, a couple of posters a viral that nobody caught and an average that is (at present) a disgrace.
3,436 WAS LAST YEARS AVERAGE.....no way (and you don't count the double header) that we will top that this year.
I have said that every ST holder should be sent at least [size5 tickets for every game[/size for the rest of the season.........not going to fill the coffers at the gates but might just shift a few beers/burgers. Next year, £10 (or maybe even £5) to sit anywhere with only 2 blocks reserved for ST holders and ALL ST's £170.....but whatever they do....For F()CKS SAKE.....plan it......don't just react when it's too late.
