Has she possibly missed the signs and machines? I did the first time I went in. The system was operating 5 years ago and was still operating last time I went sometime in 2008. |

Do be careful. A few years back some friends of mine were scammed for parking. A guy waved them through some gates and pointed down a track and took £5 off them. It was only when they got to the end of the track they realised there was no parking and the guy was a con artist

Huge car park next to Imperial War Museum has been my choice since the first Grand Final. You queue to get away is all but not the end of the world!

| I did the walk from Old Trafford to Eccles, its not fun. Then again the people I were with had no idea where they were going. At one point I saw a sign saying we were heading towards Salford!
Ended up in the pub in Eccles near the train station singing we are the champions, p*ssed out of my head, even though they all knew I went for the Bottle Throwers!  |

I've always parked at the school on the juntion with Daveyhulme Road about a mile west of OT. It's an easy walk, reasonable price, and there is usually somebody watching over the cars.

Old Trafford cricket club served me well in 2006. 5 min jog from the ground (when I was fit enough to jog for 5 mins) and away from the ground quick enough to be back in Grimsby for 9.30. Lovely jubbly

Hopefully as I'm going with my brother, we are able to park in the the company car park on Elevator Road. 10 minute walk to ground from there.

Morrisons is "PAY AND DISPLAY LIMITED TO 2 HOURS" Your best option imo is to park at Ladywell tram stop park and ride parking is free and secure. not a problem getting away after the game. get the tram to Salford Quays have a beer and walk from there. |
