| They budgeted to lose £1m. Did that go into the license bid? How well did KPMG scrutinise their bid. What a joke.

| How can they keep asking for money without even considering selling their better players (i.e Whitehead/Bateman etc) and slashing the high earners in their squad to raise funds? Having their cake and eating it comes to mind...
Hope they pull through it though, Bradford are a great club but have been badly managed - my club Salford are usually criticised for not pushing the boat out but I'd rather be in the SL spending what we can afford rather than chasing the dream and be in the brown stuff not long after

| This was always likely to happen. Too many people got overcome at the emotion and timescale put on things by Hood and handed over cash without asking the right questions or getting acceptable answers.

The truth is a different team should have been awarded that license that Bradford got.

The license system suits the RFL down to the ground. It is a perfect mechanism for putting into SL their preferred clubs.
Bradford fans need to dig deeper into their pockets or heaven forbid - the club may have to sell one or two players and that's a sacrifice too far. When they've done this they should then go back to paying full whack for a season ticket so that the club doesn't lose £100k a month.
Come on Bradford fans - sort this mess out.

| Shows what a farce RL administration is. The RFL are completely and utterly incompetent.
And to think it's them that control the salary cap. Put your hand up if you believe there aren't widespread breaches of cap rules going on?

| Feel sorry for the fans who put the money in. Sounds like the 500k was used to save the former directors from having to pay up.

Replace one financially weak club with another? Why?
Maybe some SL clubs should be asking themselves if they can really afford full time squads.

| I wouldn't say halifax are financially weak littlerich - just sensible about income expectations.
I am not sure what benefits Bradford in publicly criticising the ex-directors - more bad news and another tick in the box for licensing - i bet KPMG are enjoying the publicity of working with the rfl

| If they raise that amount, does it mean they will settle the debts they owe on tickets to other clubs? It's not just the Bulls who are hit by their financial position, it's the others they take down with them.
If they can't raise the funds by private cash injections, then they should be forced to sell their assets prior to entering administration so that at least some of their debt can be paid.

Is there? Who's talking? Which French team? Toulouse? They're currently losing at home to Fax 6-48. Mind you, no-one cares about results these days.
