Watched the game, was a good contest with plenty of commitment and a few players there with a bit of talent. The Axeman look to have a great set-up there.

Only RL could start to really grow in a country and then split into factions. What a shame - the US comp could be going from strength to strength with 15-20 decent sides. Now it is broken in two with both comps plodding on alone.

As for the WC qualifiers - looks like the AMNRL are not going to select players from the USARL. It could cost them dearly as Jamaica are developing nicely and, if the wanted, could call on a few UK-based players to beef up their challenge.

Think we need to rename scoots. Flash drives.

The split will be good for the game in the long term. The fact that the majority of sides broke away from the AMNRL and the USARL is a much stronger and better run competition, as well as the pathetic attitude of the AMNRL management regarding the WC qualifiers, gives full justification for the split.

Wouldn't have minded watching that but only just spotted the thread. Give us a heads up if the next game is available.

There will probably be a stream of the USARL Championship Game but it's on the same day as the Challenge Cup final, and I doubt it will be at the link posted above since Jacksonville didn't make it.

Shouldn't this thread be in in the International section?

It is a shame that the US has broken into two factions and only one registered with the RLEF - hence why Canada is playing the AMNRL this month...hopefully it will all come back together at some point. If Canada can claim a victory in the two legged affair it might give the AMNRL pause for thought..here's hoping!
