On a positive note in the shopping mall today I counted 5 NRL jerseys, 2 SOO tshirts and no AFL tops. And that is in AFL mad land. All we need now is a team!

The fan bases are around the same, it's just that RL fans in NSW and QLD have a lot further to travel than those in Vic, WA and SA, the regional fans in RL states can't get to games on Friday night, Monday nights, the AFL teams are all in the capitals, they have 1 regional team in Geelong that is about 30 mins away from Melbourne.

We play 2 day games a week of NRL, how are fans supposed to travel for hours to see their teams with their young families and get home at a reasonable time?

Do you ever think of the bigger picture?

You can't compare it on crowds, but you can compare it on TV ratings and RL wins.

Stop running the game down all the time.
