| Rankings are out on the 23rd.
We know London are out and I think Castleford should go also.
Wakefield probably come back but who else would you say deserves a shot.

| York. Nice ground. Would be a decent away jaunt.

| Wakey will come up, be amazed if they don’t, London obviously are out. I don’t think Cas will go down, Jepson coming in will have improved their score financially and they will have made improvements elsewhere I’m sure. Toulouse are probably the next club best placed to come in, but I’m not sure it’s good to have two French clubs in a 12 team SL when they bring in no TV revenue. Two French teams in a 14 team SL (with them covering travel costs if there is no French tv deal) I can get on board with, and I think would be great for the game - but we need an increase in broadcaster income to move to 14 clubs.
I always hoped Newcastle would make the grade, but they seem to have fell away somewhat. Also think London would be a good move, but I think they would need to be centrally funded, in a similar way to the Melbourne storm were.

York is nice ground, but no matter how much they try can’t attract a viewing audience,

Not even in SL, they are all Whino fans in that neck of the woods, look at Huddersfield with their catchment area, dire

| The Wakefield Wildcats were clearly given the nod prior to this season that they would be in SL for 2025.
Tom Johnstone and Mike McMeeken never signed on early doors for them to play in the Championship.
They also recently released 9 players too

No me neither. But I think his point on IMG and how little Sky pays is fair. Of course Sky will pay as little as possible and in the face of no competition this is not going to be very much.
I'm not sure how Leigh will get 250,000+ viewers for their own brand home games though.

I like him. A spade is a spade, and he loves the banter.

Of course it is part of their history as a lot of other things are, but glad it went and never to be seen again, but whinos is a catchy one though

| Rhinos ,Wildcats ,Wolves , all names to suit sky marketing to get their sports channels off the ground. Probably an American leaning gimmick to give sky credibility across the pond. Hate them all.
