I can't wait for his announcement interview where he states he's had a lot to deal with off the field being so far from his family and how he's going to focus on his performances now.
Then the mugs in the RL press will do a gushing interview with him at the start of next season on how he's a changed man and is making a fresh start. About the 8th such interview, but they'll fawn over him and defend him on Twitter.

I read that Zach requested to be released in pre-season as he wanted to go back to Yorkshire.
Now I wondering if he deliberately engineered this latest episode to force Wigan hand as they told him he can't leave till end of the season.
I think he will end up at Leeds.

Agreed, some players come from thousands a miles away to play here, and sacrifice certain things. It just doesn't add up, So let him go his own way, and let him do what he's gotta/wants to do. |

Reading JJB and Heathrington comments it seems they would be open to having him back.
I wouldn't be surprised if Zach had something lined up on the pretext he gets away from Wigan.
Rumours are he was not turning up to training on time. Considering he lived in Wigan in the week and went home to his girl and child on the weekend there is no excuse. This was Zach deliberately playing the bad guy till Wigan tell him to jog on. |
