Wigan are miles better than Salford, don’t get why they’d go for two 5 minutes in. Really negative move, straight out of the Steve Price playbook.

Marshall is pathetic, constantly trying to con the referee into giving penalties. Child has been good, so far.

Agree, he does it every carry. It’s embarrassing and it’s clear from the way Child was talking to him that he was never going to fall for it.

On an unrelated note, what on Earth was that forward pass call against Salford? Thankfully it didn’t cost them but it was Mikalauskas who made the call and shock horror, he’s from Wigan.

Great comeback from Salford, Wigan very unimpressive again and didn’t manage to grind the win out this time. I think it’s becoming clear Lam isn’t a very good coach and their pack will be their downfall this year. Burgess has been pathetic so far, he and Clark look massively unfit and Byrne’s just put in one of the worst performances I’ve seen from a prop in a while. Worst I’ve ever seen Hastings play as well, don’t think he passed to anyone other than Farrell.

We were missing O’Loughlin, Gildart, Hardaker, Clubb, Flower, Partington and then Bibby went off injured. I think Bullock got a knock and didn’t come back on either. But we played too conservatively and weren’t clinical enough.

Enjoyed that. Thought the ref had a good game tonight too. But he's the worst official to have ever refereed a game according to a certain set of paranoid jokers.

What are your thoughts on Tyrone McCarthy's comment that he was gouged telling the ref to watch the video but then refused to officially report it?

We were dreaful 2nd half and Salford fully deserved the win.

Funniest part of the night was the 30 or so kids (young adults) from wigan who needed a musical instrument.
