Many people have complained about the quality of Super League this year. Next season, with James Maloney arriving at Catalans, Manu Ma'u and Ligi Sao arriving at Hull FC, Sosia Feki arriving at Castleford, Luke Gale back at Castleford, and Jackson Hastings moving to Wigan, the top half of the Super League competition is going to be very exciting and of a higher standard than this year.
In the event of Steven McNamara being replaced as coach of Catalans Dragons, that club could thrive.
If Sonny Bill Williams joins a newly promoted Toronto, as has been speculated, the competition will be even more skillful and interesting.
In 2020 St Helens may still be number one, but the club probably won't be as dominant in Super League as it has been this year., with a lot of thrilling games in store.

Because David Argyle could be offering him more money than he can earn elsewhere. Remember that Sonny Bill Williams will be 35 next year.

Good point. Gareth Widdop is a class player and will surely lift Warrington's performances. If Warrington's forwards can perform reasonably well then the Warrington halves combination of Widdop and Austin could be very powerful match deciders. |
