Super League XXIV Fixtures Released
The Super League XXIV fixtures were released a lunchtime so plans can now be made for the 2019 season which will kick off with the reigning champions the Wigan Warriors, against the minor premiers St Helens, in an opening round containing two televised derby games.
The opening fixture will be televised by SKY on the 31st January as a twenty-nine round programme gets underway including the six much discussed ‘loop’ fixtures.

If you finished 1st last year you get the even placed teams 2nd-4th-6th-8th-10th-12th
If you finished 2nd you get the odd placed teams 1st-3rd-5th-7th-9th-11th etc. |

ROUND 1 - Warrington AWAY
ROUND 2 - Wigan AWAY
ROUND 10 - Salford AWAY (brought forward due to earlier participation in CC)
ROUND 3 - Saints AWAY
 Sure that start has nothing to do with Hetherington taking a stance over Elstone and the 3 chairmen who were sat next to him in that infamous meeting. |

Oh that’ll be why we’re away no doubt. Copping for those 3 teams in particular though after the arguments of this year just smacks of a petty vendetta to try and give us as tough a start to the season as possible. |
