Just a heads up for those still unaware, Premier Sports have REMOVED the live broadcast of this match from their scheduling.
The game will no longer be shown live - making a mockery of their tagline 'every WC game shown live' - and will now be shown later in the day at 11:30am instead. Note that this is after several other games have been shown, during which you are more than likely to have the result of this match spoiled for you.
So yeah, cheers Premier for delaying what is probably the most mouth-watering tie out of the entire group stages of the world cup.

Damn, this is arguably the tie of the group phase.
Only option is to tape all the games and start with the re run of the NZ - Tonga match, they will certainly mention that game in the following matches. Poor stuff form Premier, wonder if this points to them possibly losing NRL rights down the line as I don't think anything has been announced yet for next season has it?

So, do we want NZ to win or not? Presumably if they do it will be them that England have to play in the SF. Would a Tonga victory therefore give us a better chance of making the final?

can't see past a new zealand win, they look to have come together as a team, possibly riled by the defections. in the game against samoa i wasn't too impressed by some of the tonga defence. if NZ get plenty of ball they'll win by about 20 points after a tough opening quarter

The Tron (Hamilton) is buzzing.....plenty of Tongan Flags here and they may well outnumber the Kiwis...they're certainly making more noise. It's a shame that the Footballers are also playing today in Wellington in a World Cup eliminator, but I reckon this is going to be THE #1 SPORTING EVENT here this weekend....Can't wait for KO!!

£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
