| Bearing in mind the recent disclosures regarding HM and her reluctance to engage fully with the HMRC plus her grandson's reluctance to show up at the World Cup,should the England team boycott the national anthem?

"Na Na Na Na Hey-ay-ay Goodbye"

| Her grandson turns up for war not public hand shaking sessions. He's also heavily involved with injured soldiers through the Invictus games etc
Sometimes sports needs to be put into context.
Make sure when the anthem comes on next week that you put your coffee down and get out of your comfy chair and sing so loud it wakes the neighbours up. (or is this our kneeling opportunity!!)

That doesn't appear to be a problem for him when it comes to England RU internationals.

Sorry but, although NOBODY should down play some of the great work he has done with the Invictus Games etc, he will be amogst the crowd at Twickers, sipping champagne with the other big wigs.
However, he should show just a little interest in the sport that he is now the supposed figurehead
Foe me, he should never have been given the RL gig as he is NEVER likely to grace the sport with his presence.

Was he reluctant? Was he even invited?
Fair comment if he was invited but rejected the chance....but I doubt very much he was invited as it would be the RFL's responsibility to cover costs (and that would include protection squads, flights, hotels etc...)

Twickenham is in London though and much easier to attend. Doubt he's got loads of off days to go travelling to Australia, the other week he had an official trip to Denmark, this weekend it'll be Rememberance Sunday. Yes he's become involved in RL but he's involved in loads of things that he'll have to balance out and he did meet with the England squad several weeks ago and has been to Headingley.

Are England playing at Wembley this Autumn?
Funny the Lions played NZ on the 1st and 8th of July, was Prince Harry there, no but on the 4th he was at Headingley Stadium promoting an event aimed to get more children playing RL.

Quite interesting this that Hardaker was there meeting Prince Harry on the 4th of September but then failed a drugs test on the 8th
