Can you imagine the head of England Rugby Union wearing an English Rugby League scarf to a Union game!

Seems a bizarre thing to do from our glorious leader!

The sky sports hat is just as tin pot. You are the head of a major UK sport, buy your own clothes, and make them nice. If he walked into my office wearing something like that I would show him where the door is.

He's on well in excess of £200,000 plus nice fat pension pot (£252k a year if the numbers the RFL submitted to companies house are correct) but you're right, easy enough to claim expenses for a jolly with a nice overnight hotel and disguise it as part of the job.

Its all part of the London conspiracy. David Hughes was hosting him, feeding him Guinness, pies and brown bags of money to get London back into SL. This is how London have received preferential treatment in the past remember.
