I agree with the sentiment, however referring to Toulouse as toxic each time is just plain old nastiness.
It's not Tolouses fault they were lumped into the wrong league, it's not their fault they have full timers in their ranks, it's not the coaches fault that the RFL allow a bigger allotment of cash for players so they can have better players.

The author rightly points out this is down to the RFL but much of his vitriol is aimed at the Tolouse club itself, if things were the other way around would Rochdale or any club in TO's position play things any different, no they bloody well wouldn't!

It's total nonsense, he's claiming 11 imports when Toulouse have 6 overseas (Australia/NZ) players and two English in their squad, the vast majority of their squad are homegrown players aged 23 or under. Rochdale on the other hand are a dual-reg club with Warrington and regularly field full time players. Toulouse have also been noted for their sportsmanship in just about every match they've played. The author has literally just made up a load of rubbish to the point where I'm half convinced that that article is satire.

It is Tolouse's fault they are in League One, people have short memories. They made such a mess of it last time that they were forced to withdraw from the Championship. The Championship and League One clubs said you can come back in but you have to earn it. Simple. I know a lot of you struggle to remember there even is rugby league outside of SL, but try and remember every now and then.

I hope Rochdale's coach Kilshaw gets to use his own legs as goal posts when Toulouse go for a conversion, Mark Kherliah misses and Kilshaw gets hit in the crackers. Oops, sorry, did i say that. My apologies .... cough, cough.

I must be more moderate and sportsmanlike. With any other team in League 1, the coach's and teams have been exceptional. Rochdale players are being led by a fiend that wants to stop any international expansion of the game with his regular rants. Rochdale must be issued more yellow cards than any other club in League 1, or very close to it, and that's more the style and direction coming from the coach.

But the bottom line is that Rochdale will be stronger and more determined than they were in their recent loss. We'll have to see how Toulouse handle whatever tactics Kilshaw puts in place. I wouldn't put it past him to throw a banana skin under the linesman's feet [ oops did i say that].

Rochdale will get smashed by Toulouse, and the same again next year with Toronto.

Toulouse will win by about 30 points in the final and Rochdale will be beaten by Barrow to claim the second promotion spot. Justice will have been done. Next season the Canadians plus one Cumbrian side will win promotion so where will that leave the Hornets ?
