Sad to see today that Danny Tickle has left Widnes, he's been a solid performer wherever he's been and to me it's the right decision regarding his health issue.
"Widnes Vikings and Danny Tickle have mutually agreed an immediate release from the player's 2016 playing contract
Former England second-row Tickle, joined the Vikings in 2014 and made 45 appearances scoring 248 points in Widnes colours, many of which came from his famous left boot, accumulating 118 successful conversions for the club.
Danny has played an important part in the transition of Widnes Vikings during our formative Super League years and everybody involved with the Club wish Danny and his family the very best of luck for the future."

When he was at Hull he was in theEngland squad and played against the exiles. He'd really hit a vein of form 2012/13 as an attacking second row not to mention his kicking prowess.

Definitely was a joke based off of the current transfer policy in place at Bradford that says we don't need a 7 but it's worth signing guys for whom we already have an abundance of players for their position |
